Bergen og Hordaland Trekking Association is the biggest volunteer association in Western Norway with over 30 000 members. We arrange trekking tours and courses, maintenance hiking trails, engage in conservation of nature, and have 25 cabins available for day visit or for overnight stay in the mountains.
Come and vist us at Tvergaten 4-6 Marken, in the city of Bergen. Here you can buy outdoor equipment and clothing. Talk to expirienced mountaineers at the shop, and get information about hiking and skiing in our area. Check out our tours and courses here.
COVID-19 related important information
From May 1st, 2020 the DNT cabins will gradually open and some tours and activities will be resumed. But the current Covid-19 situation requires that all guests book their cabin visit in advance and follow the preventative measures as guidelined below. Most important: All cabin visits have to be booked in advance. You can book online by finding the cabin you want to visit on ut.no. In order to reduce the risk of infection, we have implementet new routines for cabin visits. Read through the new regulations for 2020 thouroughly before setting out on a trek.
